Division of Environmental Health at UCT: Educating on Pesticide Hazards
For the Division of Environmental Health at the University of Cape Town, Imago Visual developed a comprehensive fact sheet booklet titled “The Potential Key Role of SAICM Focal Points in Reducing Harm from Highly Hazardous Pesticides (HHPs)”. This project aimed to disseminate crucial information to a broad audience about the risks and management of hazardous pesticides.

Challenge
The main challenge was to design an informative booklet that breaks down complex data on highly hazardous pesticides into an easily understandable format for diverse stakeholders including policymakers, researchers, and the public.
What we did
- Structured the booklet with well-defined sections, using clear headings and subheadings to guide the reader through the content.
- Incorporated infographics, charts, and illustrations to visually highlight critical information, making the factsheet engaging and easier to understand.
- Managed the print production meticulously to ensure the booklet was of high quality, reflecting the seriousness of the content and enhancing its distribution and reception.
